These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aperiodic Factors website and any index, factsheet, or data products made available through it (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing the Services you agree to these Terms. Where a separate written agreement governs your access to our data or services, that agreement controls to the extent of any conflict with these Terms.
The Services are intended for institutional and professional clients. Nothing on the site is directed at retail investors, and the materials are provided for informational purposes only.
The Services, including any index values, factsheets, returns series, and related data, do not constitute investment advice, research, a recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.
All index methodologies, data, content, trademarks, and other materials made available through the Services are owned by Aperiodic or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Except as expressly permitted under a separate written agreement, you may not redistribute, resell, or create derivative products from the data.
Factsheets, returns series, raw factor samples, and other materials made freely available through the Services are provided for evaluation purposes only. Absent a separate written license, you may not use them in production, for live trading or portfolio construction, or redistribute them to any third party. Access to data for operational or trading use is granted solely under a separate written license agreement.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the data is accurate, complete, or uninterrupted. Service levels, where offered, are governed exclusively by a separate written agreement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aperiodic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
Performance figures shown through the Services may be historical, backtested, or otherwise simulated. Simulated results are hypothetical, are constructed with the benefit of hindsight, and do not represent actual trading. They do not reflect the impact of transaction costs, financing, fees, slippage, or the liquidity constraints of executing at scale. No representation is made that any account will, or is likely to, achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. Past performance, whether actual or simulated, is not indicative of future results.
The Services are provided by Aperiodic Limited, a company incorporated in Ireland. These Terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
